SetSail check-in is smoother when the boarding pass is already on your phone and the arrival time matches the one in the app. The drop-off curb moves quickly, so have passports out before the car stops. The parking garage is a walk with luggage; a porter at the curb is the calmer choice if the group is large. Photos of the ship from the garage roof are a bonus, not the plan.
Jetty Park & the Grills
Jetty Park, just south of the cruise piers, is the classic departure-watching lawn. Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar sits on the channel, so you can eat while the ship slides past the jetty. Arrive early on a sail-away afternoon if you want a table that faces the water. Neither spot is a substitute for being on the ship, and the channel traffic is real, so stay behind the rails.
